ChatGPT Plus can be cancelled at any given time & the process does not incur any fees!
I’ll guide you through each step for both mobile and desktop.
How To Cancel ChatGPT On Desktop
Launch ChatGPT, select your name in the bottom-left corner and choose “My plan”:
Next, the following window will appear:
Select “Manage my subscription”, which will direct you to an external site managed by Stripe, ChatGPT’s payment service.
Then, click on “Cancel plan”. A confirmation page will appear, asking you to cancel again.
Your subscription is now canceled, and you’ll be redirected to the main screen.
How To Cancel ChatGPT Plus On Mobile
Important to note: If your subscription was initiated on a desktop, it cannot be canceled via mobile (see screenshot)!
The process to cancel ChatGPT Plus on mobile is just as straightforward.
First, click on your name in the bottom-left corner. Then select subscription and you’ll be directed through a similar user flow that I detailed above.
And that’s that – you’ve just cancelled your ChatGPT Plus subscription.
